Equity Mutual Funds end flat amid volatile market

Equity Mutual Funds closed with mixed returns as markets registered marginal gains. Performance wise, Technology funds advanced as tech giant TCS posted good Q1 FY-14 results. Except Technology, all the other categories ended low amid volatile market.

The market session closed with Sensex at 20149.85 up 21.44 points while the Nifty is down 8.85 to end at 6029.20.

On fixed income funds, both Long term and Short term advanced registering very few decline. Debt funds are likely to remain rangebound in near term.
