Pritesh Mehta of IIFL told CNBC-TV18, " Ashok Leyland has all the right things. It corrected from the levels of Rs 24, found support at Rs 12 and created a good trading base between Rs 12 and Rs 14 and then broke on the upside. Thereafter it retraced back to the support of Rs 14."

"Currently it is trading in a flag formation, so I believe that this sideway consolidation will break on the upside and we can see the stock ralling back to the levels of Rs 21-22 which is the 200 day moving average. This is definitely one stock one should be in for short term trading. Maintain a stoploss of Rs 14 and stay long for a target of Rs 22," he adds.
