Sudarshan Sukhani of s2analytics.com told CNBC-TV18, " YES Bank is very volatile to be taken as a short-term trade as of now. Long-term investors should hold on, private banking stocks will do well. But in the short-term it is best to take a small loss and get out of it."

At 12:08 hrs Yes Bank was quoting at Rs 338.15, up Rs 9.75, or 2.97 percent. It has touched an intraday high of Rs 338.90 and an intraday low of Rs 319.

The share touched its 52-week high Rs 547.15 and 52-week low Rs 216.10 on 20 May, 2013 and 28 August, 2013, respectively. Currently, it is trading 38.2 percent below its 52-week high and 56.48 percent above its 52-week low. Market capitalisation stands at Rs 12,188 crore.
