ICICIdirect.com has come out with its report on currency. According to the research firm, the US dollar is expected to garner buying support on declines against the INR. One can utilise declines in the US$/INR July contract to buy for target of 60.45-60.55.

The rupee rose on Tuesday tracking stronger domestic shares after foreign investors made their biggest single-day purchase of local stocks in nearly three weeks while the absence of any central bank intervention also helped
The Indian currency ended the day at 60.07, up 0.17% from its previous close of 60.17
The dollar index against six major currencies closed at 79.82, up 0.05% from its previous close of 79.78
US$/INR derivatives strategy: Buy July contract
In the currency futures market, the most traded dollar-rupee July contract on the NSE closed at 60.45. The July contract open interest was up 0.06% from the previous day
The August contract open interest was up 13.23% from the previous day
We expect the US dollar to garner buying support on declines against the INR. Utilise declines in the US$/INR July contract to buy
